  Being a ballplayer myself I know that once you find equipment that is comfortable and works for you, you want to use it for as long as possible. See if a teammate will let you try their bat several times or even better, during a round of batting practice. Remember that a swing in the store is much different from a swing at the plate. Ultimately it comes down to what is comfortable to you.
